Dr. Alison Rotha Moore

University of Wollongong

Dr. Alison Rotha Moore is a Senior Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Wollongong, Australia. She has held nationally competitive research grants (ARC and NHMRC) to study discourses of health and clinical interaction, and publishes widely on these topics and on register theory. 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sornchai Mungthaisong

Chiang Rai Rajabhat University

Asst. Prof. Sornchai Mungthaisong is currently President of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University (CRRU), Chiang Rai, Thailand. He obtained Ph.D. in Linguistics from University of Adelaide, Australia, Master of Education in Teaching English from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, Certificate in Material and Curriculum Development, RELC, SEMEAO Singapore, and Bachelor of Education in English (Honor) from Srinakharinwirot University, Phitsanulok, Thailand. Apart from having been awarded as an outstanding lecturer of English, he also served different administratorship positions at CRRU i.e. head of English Program at Faculty of Humanities, Dean of Humanities, Assistant President and Vice President (International Affairs) before taking presidentship in 2018. President Sornchai also play important roles in the Rajabhat Universities Network (RUN) as he is the Chair of International Academic Collaboration Consortium for RUN and Chair of Presidents of Rajabhat University in the Upper Northern Region. His research interests lie in the areas of linguistics, ethnolinguistics, teacher training, and discourse analysis.

Prof. Dr. Stefanie Shamila Pillai

University of Malaya

Prof. Dr. Stefanie Pillai is a Professor at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, University of Malaya (UM). Her main areas of research interest are the acoustic features of spoken languages, particularly Malaysian English and Malacca Portuguese. She also works on language documentation and revitalization. Her initial work on Malacca Portuguese is archived at the Endangered Languages Archive (http://elar.soas.ac.uk/deposit/0123). More recently, she has developed a mobile application, BibePortMal, a Malacca Portuguese dictionary, in collaboration with several Malacca Portuguese speakers (https://bibeportmal.um.edu.my). Prof. Dr. Ahmad Mazli Bin Muhammad

Universiti Teknologi MARA

Professor Dr. Ahmad Mazli Bin Muhammad, the former Dean, is a Professor of English Language at Akademi Pengajian Bahasa, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Shah Alam Campus. He obtained his Masters in Curriculum and Teaching at Michigan State University and his PhD in Assessment and Evaluation at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He has been with UiTM for 32 years. His vast experience includes teaching and learning, curriculum design, and assessment. His current interest includes curriculum evaluation as well as alignment of outcomes to assessments. In addition, he is helping young content lecturers to improve their English communication in classroom skills. Professor Mazli is also involved in research and innovation initiatives. He has led and won several medals at the International Invention, Innovation, Design Exposition (iidex). Currently, he is supervising 6 PhD students and engaging them in journal writing activities. His tagline was and is “Taking APB to the Next Level”.

Dr. Widhiyanto

Universitas Negeri Semarang

Dr. Widhiyanto is the Head of the English Department at Semarang State University, Indonesia. His main area of research interest is on linguistic approach utilized in academic writing particularly on how student writers organize meanings to achieve their communicative purposes at the macro-level of whole text; at the meso level of chapter, section and paragraph; and at the microlevel of sentence and below. He has published eight journal articles in 2019/20 and currently working towards future research collaborations.

Prof. Dr. Chan Yuen Fook

Universiti Teknologi MARA

Prof. Dr. Chan Yuen Fook is the Director for the Asian Centre for Research on University Learning and Teaching at the Faculty of Education, UiTM.  He is also the Chief Editor for Asian Journal of University Education which has been indexed in Scopus, ERIC and MyCite databases. Prof. Dr. Chan Yuen Fook is a Professor at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA, 42300 Puncak Alam, Selangor, MALAYSIA. Currently, Prof. Chan is the Chief Editor of Asian Journal of University Education (AJUE), and also the Head of the ACRULeT Innovative Teaching, Learning and Assessment Research Interest Group at the Faculty of Education, UiTM. He was a Fulbright Scholar funded by the Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange (MACEE) at Indiana University from 2010 to 2011. Prof. Chan has presented numerous papers at both national and international conferences. His written contributions have appeared in a number of journals, books and proceedings while his innovations in teaching and learning have won awards at national and international scientific exhibitions. To date, he has completed many research projects funded by various agencies such as Institut Penyelidikan Pendidikan Tinggi Negara (IPPTN), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysian Examinations Syndicate, Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan Malaysia (AADK), Ministry of Higher Education (Fundamental Research Grant Scheme – FRGS), and Research Management Institute, Universiti Teknologi MARA (Dana Kecemerlangan, Geran Bestari). His interests are in the field of Educational Assessment, Educational Management, Curriculum and Instruction and Computers in Education.
